Budget 2019

Farmers :

• Announced Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhl ; the Gorment will transfer rs. 6,000 per annum for small & marginal farmers.
• 
  2 % Interest subvention to farmers in animal husbandry & fisheries.

Unorganized Sector :

• Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Mandhan, a pension scheme was announced; to provide assured monthly pension of rs. 3,000 after the age to 60 years.

• Gratuity limit has been increased from rs. 10 lakh to rs 30 lakh.

Salaried Middle Class Common Man

• People with annual earning upto Rs 5 lakh will be exempted from paying Income Tax.
• Standars tax deduction for salaried persons raised from Rs 40,000 to  Rs 50,000.
• TDS threshold on interest on bank & post office deposits raised from Rs 10,000 to 40,000.
• Contribution to new pension scheme has been increased from 4% to 14%.

File Makers 

• A single window clearance for filmmaker & anti-camcording provision in Cinematography Act to fight piracy.

Railways 

• The government has allocated a sum of Rs 64,587 Cr for Railways in 2019-20.

Defense

• The Defense Budget has been enhanced beyond Rs 3 Lakh Cr.
